Tyler Matl

 Born Tyler Daniel Matl, on June 10, 1994, in Lexington, Kentucky. Matl is a talented country /pop singer, songwriter and musician.

A self taught musician, Tyler plays the drums, piano and guitar. Tyler has a passion for music and is driven to succeed in the music industry.  Living in the Nashville area Tyler has been  able to play at some of the well-known venues; such as, the Commodore Grille, Hard Rock Café and the famous Bluebird Café, to name only a few. Living in Music City gives Matl the ability to network with great talents, many of whom have been helping him to grow within his musical career.

Matl has trained with the world renowned vocal coach Judy Rodman as well as voice/theatrical coach Susan Gabrielle. Tyler is no stranger to television appearances, he has had multiple appearances on Nashville Television and Radio Shows: The Nashville Spotlight and Music City gospel Review, the Chico and Bman show.  In addition, he has had TV Spots with CMA/GAC and Judy Rodman’s “LIVE JAM Artist’s Unplugged”.  He has also performed in numerous showcases. In the Guy Gilchrist talent showdown, Tyler placed second and he placed fourth across the nation in the 2011 “Smashtunes” Contest with his song, “Wonderstruck”.  Tyler was also a semi finalist in Country Talent Search and received four thumbs up on Season 2 of The XFactor as well as making through to the Executive round on The Voice.

Meanwhile, Tyler has received continued airplay on major radio stations as well as  Internet Radio, Purevolume.com, LastFM.com, iHeart Radio, Jango and more  Tyler has been on the top Ten in the US, UK, Canada and Australia and is currently in the running for American Artist of the Year, Pop Artist of the Year and Band of the Year for RadioNation.  He has built an online fan base of over 95,000 fans and growing.  Tyler’s first album titled, “Wonderstruck” was released on 11/11/11.  He toured Southern California, Arkansas, Texas and Tennessee, playing to crowds as large as 5000.

Tyler played in the first ever Teen Hoot Festival where he debuted his new single “SuperHuman” which is now available on iTunes and more.  The music video for SuperHuman was also released on YouTube and has been seen by over 5000 people in less than a month.  Tyler will be releasing his next EP, “Searching for Juliet” in April 2013. His next single “Hello” will release on iTunes February 8th.
